Poseidon with Trident and Dolphin
Here we see Poseidon, King of the Undersea World, with his trident and the beloved dolphin. The original of this piece dates from c.450 B.C., the height of the Classical period, otherwise known as the Hellenistic period. The Oil Lamp measures 6 1/2" long x 4 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" high. It is hand-crafted, hand-painted, hand-turned and is stamped and numbered on the underside.
