Large EGYPTIAN Scarab Amulet on Handcarved Soapstone 26 Bead
Necklace

The scarab beetle was the image of self-creation for ancient Egyptians. Worshipped under the name Khepri "he who came forth from the earth," it was believed that the scarab pushed the sun across the sky. In hieroglyphics, the beetle actually meant "to be transformed" and was a symbol of new life.

A beautiful handcarved blue soapstone scarab amulet, measuring approximately 1 3/8" by 7/8," surrounded by 26 handcarved blue soapstone square beads interspaced with gold-colored metal beads.

Sale Price $11.99
Shipping and Handling is $5.00.
